Make a difference in the world we live in. Be a part of the sustainability movement. Join us at the Temasek Foundation International-NUS Youth Ecosperity Dialogue from June 5 – 9 2019, and do your part to make Earth a more sustainable place.
What is the Youth Ecosperity Dialogue?
Into its sixth edition this year, the Temasek Foundation International-NUS Youth Ecosperity Dialogue is an annual platform where tertiary students from across Asia come together to discuss the challenges in sustainability today, and collaborate on solutions for a better tomorrow.
Organised by the National University of Singapore’s School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (NUS SCALE) in partnership with Temasek Foundation International and Ecosperity Week 2019, the Dialogue is a parallel student track to the Ecosperity Conference 2019 to provide a platform for the leaders of tomorrow to connect with corporate and government leaders, and build connections among their peers
What is in store for participants this year?
This year, we are assembling 100 environmental vanguards to explore matters surrounding energy, water and material flow. Teaming up in smaller groups, you would visit companies facing real-life challenges, and collaborate on possible solutions to achieve a low-carbon and resource-efficient future.
Get to hear from eminent global leaders in the field of sustainability, and engage in dialogue with Ms Christiana Figueres, the former Executive Secretary of the United Nations’ Framework Convention on Climate Change. Participate in the wider Ecosperity conference and learn more about the latest efforts in the field of sustainability from the likes of Professor Ian Chapman (CEO and chairman, Isle Group Ltd), Dr Piers Clark (CEO, UK Atomic Energy Authority) and Dr Ernest Moniz (US Secretary of Energy [2013 – 2017]).
Interested students will have to register their interest here by March 31 2019, 2359hrs (SGT). Successful applicants will be notified by April 30 2019.
Do also note that June 5 2019 also happens to be Hari Raya Puasa (Aidilfitri).
