University of Sydney: Global Leaders Program – 2020 Offerings

The Global Leaders Program is pleased to announce two (non-award) programs for June/July 2020

Program Name: International Law
Dates: 22 June – 7 July (Draft Schedule attached)
Program Description This program is for undergraduate students currently studying law and will be delivered by leading academics as well as members from industry, government and non-governmental organisations to enable students to gain comprehensive knowledge and insight into Australia’s legal system and its approach to international law. The modules for this year’s program will be “International Refugee Law” and “International Criminal Law”.  In-class learning will be enhanced by site visits, field trips and discussions with law students from around the world.

*Please note that this program requires a minimum of 20 participants in total (from across any of the institutions) to go ahead

Who’s Eligible? Undergraduate students currently studying Law
Program Fee $4660 AUD

Includes:

–          Tuition

–          Accommodation

–          certificate of study

–          welcome and farewell lunch

–          invitation letter for visa (if required)

–          group return airport transfers (on set dates and times)

English Language Requirements All of our programs are conducted in English. To achieve the best outcomes, participants must be confident in understanding, communicating, discussing and presenting in English. We recommend IELTS 6.0 or higher.

Program Name: Inventing the Future
Dates: 29 June – 11 July (Draft Schedule attached)
Program Description This program is open to both undergraduate and post graduate students from all disciplines and will encourage a future-focused approach to innovation, tackling real problems like climate change, health and education.  Students from different disciplines will work together with academic leaders from science, art, engineering, design and to look beyond their own disciplines to develop creative solutions that a difference.

*Please note that this program requires a minimum of 20 participants in total (from across any of the institutions) to go ahead

Who’s Eligible? Undergraduate and Post graduate students from all disciplines
Program Fee $4160 AUD

Includes:

–          Tuition

–          Accommodation

–          certificate of study

–          group return airport transfers (on set dates and times)

How to get your students on one of our programs

  1. Advertise this opportunity internally to your students
  2. Select and screen (as appropriate for your institution)
  3. Send us a list of the students who would like to attend by 30th March (Payment will be due 1st May)
  4. Once we receive this we will be in touch with you on the next steps!
