It is our pleasure to announce the start of the application period for the Tokyo Tech-Asia Young Scientist and Engineer Advanced Study Program (hereinafter referred to as the “Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS”) 2014. This annual program is the successor to the Japan-Asia Young Scientist and Engineer Study Visit (JAYSES) program, which began in 2007. Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS 2014 will be held this summer in Vietnam.
Application procedures:
- Interested students will submit their application forms to the Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS Administration Office (ayseas@jim.titech.ac.jp). (Application forms can be downloaded from the Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS website: http://www.ayseas.ipo.titech.ac.jp/2014/) Application deadline: May 19, 2014 (Mon), 23:59 Japanese Standard Time.
- We will immediately forward the applications that the Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS Administration Office receives to you.
- Please review the applications, select approximately three candidates and notify the Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS Administration Office with a list of candidates prioritized according to your policies, by June 10, 2014. The number of students accepted will ultimately be determined by the capacity of the program, so please select two extra candidates (for a total number of approximately five students) in case more space becomes available.
The selection results will be sent directly from the Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS Administration Office to all applicants.
