Consistently Giving Excellent Contributions with Impact, FTUI Wins 40 Awards at the 73rd Anniversary of the University of Indonesia

In the series of award presentations in the framework of the 73rd Anniversary of the Universitas Indonesia, the Faculty of Engineering won 40 awards in various fields. The 73rd Anniversary of UI carried the theme ‘Innovation for Superior Indonesia’ with awards for various fields being held on 15 and 22 February 2023 From a total of 40 awards, FTUI won 13 First Prizes, 9 Second Prizes, 11 Third Prizes and 7 Special Awards.

On February 15, 2023, the Universitas Indonesia gave awards to the academic community, work units, faculties, schools, vocational education programs, and special work units as a form of appreciation from the Universitas Indonesia for the innovations, achievements, and various efforts that have been made by the community members for the advancement of the Universitas Indonesia . The number of awards given in the series of events was 246 in 73 categories from 5 fields. While at the peak celebration of the 73rd Universitas Indonesia Anniversary which was held on Wednesday (22/02) at the UI Hall, the UI Faculty of Engineering won three prizes in the futsal competition and Instagram video reels.

Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, ST., M.Eng., IPU expressed his appreciation for the various achievements made by the UI Faculty of Engineering, “The many awards and prizes received by FTUI prove that FTUI always makes a contribution with excellent impact for the Universitas Indonesia. Congratulations and success for all the achievements that have been obtained, thanks to the FTUI community for the various efforts that have been made for the progress of FTUI, UI, and the wider community.

The awards received by FTUI are:

16 Awards for Academic and Student Affairs Field

4 Awards for Quality Assurance Unit sub-category

  1. 2nd place in the Faculty category with the Most Accreditation of International Accreditations with a total of 10 accreditations,
  2. 2nd place in the faculty category with the Most Accreditation Accreditation of Excellence with a total of 19 accreditations,
  3. 1st Place in the category of Study Program with the Best EVISEM Score for Undergraduate Level, namely the Bachelor of Chemical Engineering study program, and
  4. 1st place in the category of Study Program with the Best EVISEM Score for the Postgraduate Level, namely the Professional Engineer Program.

4 Awards for Center for Independent Learning sub-category

  1. 1st Place in the Faculty category with the Most Number of Students at the 2022 Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) with 34 Students,
  2. 3rd Place in the Faculty category with the Most Number of Students in the 2022 Certified Internship and Independent Study Program (MSIB) with 123 Students,
  3. 2nd place in the Faculty category with the Most Number of Students Actively Participating in the 2022 UI – Build Your Own Career (BYOC) Freedom Learning Program with 385 Students, and
  4. 1st Winner of the Faculty with the Most Independent Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) Activities in 2022 with a total of 4 Activities..

4 Awards for Directorate of Education sub-category

  1. 3rd Place in the Faculty category with the Most Lecturers Conducting Inbound Mobility Activities as many as 188 Lecturers,
  2. 3rd place in the Faculty category with the Most Academic Cooperation with a total of 31 academic collaborations,
  3. 2nd Place in the Faculty category with the Most Foreign Students with 19 Students, and
  4. 1st winner in the Faculty category with the most PMDSU promoters with 27 promoters.

3 Awards for Directorate of Student Affairs sub-category

  1. 2nd place in the Faculty category with the Best Scholarship Achievements, namely 63 Scholarship Partners with a total of 21 billion and 910 scholarship recipient students,
  2. 1st Place in the Faculty category with 1024 Best Student Achievements in the Field of Reasoning, and
  3. 1st winner in the Faculty category with the Most Internationalization of Student Activities with 646 international achievements and 26 foreign students participating in the inbound mobility program.

1 Award for Library sub-category

  1. 3rd place in category 3 Faculty with the highest level of Library Visits with a total of 13,968 visits.

5 Awards for Finance and Logistics Field

Award for Directorate of Finance and Accounting sub category

  1. 2nd Place in UKK category with Best Financial Reporting Quarter IV with Revenue Over 30 Billion (Institute of Technology (LEMTEK) FTUI),
  2. UKK Category with the Best Financial Reporting Quarter IV with Income Between 5M to 10M.
  • 1st place won by UP2M Mechanical Engineering,
  • 2nd place won by UP2M Electrical Engineering, and
  • 3rd place won by UPPM Chemical Engineering.
  1. 1st Place in the UKK category with the Best Financial Reporting Tripulant IV with Revenue Less Than 5 Billion (Industrial Engineering Venturi).

9 Awards for Research and Innovation Field

  1. Category of Researcher with the Best Research Impact Science and Technology Cluster
  • 2nd place won by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Nandy Setiadi Djaya Putra
  • 3rd place won by Dr. Eny Kusrini, S.Si.
  1. University Level Commercial Impact Innovation Category
  • Flocked Swab,
  • Covent,
  • Degastab, dan
  • Propolis Cair
  1. The category of Innovation Impacting the Resilience of the Domestic Automotive Industry was won by the Merah Putih Electric Bus with two FTUI teams as part of it:
  • The Big Electric Bus Platform Development Team and Its Supporting Components and
  • Product Development Team for Motor Drive Systems (Propulsion) for Large Electric Buses.
  1. Lecturer Category with the Best Community Service and Empowerment
  • Dr. Ir. Raldi Artono Koestoer, DEA., dan
  • Widyarko, S.Ars., M.Ars.

5 Award for Human Resources and Assets Field 

3 Awards in the Directorate of Human Resources sub-category

  1. 2nd place in the Faculty category with the Best BKD Participation in 2022,
  2. 1st Place in the Faculty category with the Best Professor Additions in 2022, and
  3. 3rd Place in the Best SKP Filling Faculty category in 2022.

2 Awards in the Directorate of Cooperation sub-category

  1. 3rd place in the Faculty category with the Number of International Collaborations in 2022 and
  2. 3rd Place in the Faculty category with the Most Collaborations in 2022.

2 Awards in the University Secretary field 

  1. 1st Place in the Faculty category with the Best SMK3L Implementation in 2022
  2. 3rd place in the best International Service Support category.

3 Awards in Sports and Arts Competition

  1. 1st place in futsal competition.
  2. 1st place in Instagram video reels competition (Dewa Yanu Raditya, student)
  3. 3rd place in the Instagram video reels competition (Alifah Zaki Amalia, staff).
