FTUI Signs Cooperation Agreement with Faculty of Engineering, Pertamina University

On March 6 2023, a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) was signed between the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI) and the Pertamina University Faculty of Engineering. The Cooperation Agreement was signed by the Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, ST., M.Eng., IPU. and Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs at Pertamina University, Budi W. Soetjipto, Ph.D., located at the Dean Building, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia.

The purpose of the collaboration between the two universities is to organize the Credit Earning Program (CEP) and support the Free Learning Program – Independent Campus (MBKM), Masters of Engineering Advanced Education between the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia and Pertamina University, especially for the undergraduate and postgraduate fast track programs.

In his remarks the Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, ST., M.Eng., IPU., said, “Today is a historic day for the cooperative relationship between the Universitas Indonesia and Pertamina University. Previously the two institutions had established a very good long relationship. The Faculty of Engineering as part of the Universitas Indonesia is always ready to forge superior and impactful collaborations. Today FTUI and Pertamina University signed a cooperation agreement for the fast track program. Hopefully this collaboration can provide mutual benefits to fulfill our shared aspirations to grow various universities in Indonesia.”

“In 2045, Indonesia will get a demographic bonus, namely a significant increase in the number of people of productive age. There are still 20 years left to carefully prepare for this opportunity to create superior and impactful next generations of the nation through various educational programs. This cooperation program is one of Pertamina University’s efforts to work together with FTUI to prepare the nation’s next generation,” said Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs at Pertamina University, Budi W. Soetjipto, Ph.D. in his speech.

(Head of Education Modernization and Internationalization Unit), Ayomi Dita Rarasati, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. (Civil Engineering Dept.), Dr. Agus Sunjarianto Pamitran, ST., M.Eng. (Cadet.
