The Rektor of the Universitas Indonesia (UI) inaugurated Prof. Dr. Ir. Yanuar M.Eng., M.Sc. and Prof. Ir. Mahmud Sudibandriyo, M.Sc., Ph.D. as Vice Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs and Vice Dean for Resources, Ventures and General Administration of FTUI at the hybrid inauguration event which was held on Friday, January 21, 2022. In addition to the two Vice Deans of FTUI, the UI Rektor also inaugurated the Director and Vice Directors of Vocational Studies and Vice Deans for Education, Research, and Student Affairs and Vice Deans for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration for the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) UI and Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) UI.
The oath of office was taken by the UI Rector who was accompanied by a clergyman and continued with the signing of the oath of office. In his welcoming speech, the UI Rektor said that UI must be adaptive, anticipatory, and innovative, especially in the face of the 4.0 era and the Covid-19 pandemic. He also advised the newly appointed Deans and Directors to continue to provide positive energy.
“As leaders in the faculty, you are the torchbearers of light that will be followed by the entire academic community,” he said. The Rector hopes that UI can continue to provide innovations and ideas that can benefit the nation’s life and maintain the achievements that have been achieved so far.
This activity was attended by two witnesses, namely, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Saleh Husin, M.Sc., and Chair of the University Academic Senate, Prof. Nachrowi Djalal Nachrowi, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., and attended by the Dean, Deputy Dean, School Director, University Secretary, Vice Chancellor and invited guests who attended the event. At the end of the event, it was filled with a session of congratulating the newly inaugurated officials.
