Dear Colleagues and Friends – As spring begins to arrive in Lille and on our campus, we are busy preparing for our 19th annual European Summer Program. In this month’s newsletter, you will find important info on registration deadlines as well as some information on interesting events happening in Lille.
LILLE European Summer Program 2019 -REGISTRATION DEADLINE
The European Summer Program registration period is in full swing! Please remember that for students attending our ESP1 session from 27 May to 26 June online applications are due Monday April 1st. For students attending ESP2 from 28 June to 26 July online registrations must be completed by May 1st. Online registrations can be completed here or on our website.
This week Lille hosts the annual Series Mania International Festival – a festival 100% dedicated to series and fans of series. Events include special screenings, international celebrities (among them Uma Thurman, Freddie Highmore, Adam Scott…), interviews with cast and crew, exhibitions, animations, and themed parties. The event caters to fans of all ages and tastes.
The festival has taken place every year since 2010 and Lille has become its permanent home since 2018. The festival attracts over 50,000 people each year.
The Université Catholique de Lille will host our 3rd annual STP in partnership with De La Salle University of Manila. This custom short-term program offers students the chance to spend 3 weeks in Lille learning French language and culture as well as an afternoon elective offered in English about Corporate Social Responsibility. Additional cultural events and field trips to local and international sites are included in the program.
