FTUI Wins Four Awards at the 76th Anniversary of Universitas Indonesia

The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), has once again achieved a proud milestone by winning four awards at the award ceremony held in conjunction with the 76th Anniversary of Universitas Indonesia. The awards were presented during the official ceremony at the Balairung of Universitas Indonesia on February 2, 2026.

At the 2025 Universitas Indonesia Awards, FTUI secured 1st Place in the Highest Professor Ratio category and 2nd Place in three other categories: Highest Doctoral Degree Ratio, Highest Non-State Budget Revenue (Non-BP), and Highest Endowment Fund Revenue. These achievements demonstrate FTUI’s consistent commitment to strengthening the quality of its human resources, academic capacity, and overall institutional performance.

Winning awards in four categories simultaneously reflects the success of FTUI’s institutional development strategy, which focuses on enhancing faculty quality, increasing the number of lecturers holding doctoral and professorial titles, and optimizing the management of non-state budget and endowment fund revenues. This accomplishment also highlights the strong synergy among faculty leaders, academic staff, administrative personnel, and students in supporting the faculty’s and university’s strategic goals.

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, Prof. Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., stated that the awards are the result of collective efforts by the entire FTUI academic community.

“This achievement is the result of the hard work and collaboration of all members of the FTUI academic community in maintaining excellence in education, research, and institutional governance. These awards are not only a source of pride but also a motivation for us to continue enhancing FTUI’s contribution to producing innovation and outstanding human resources for Indonesia.”

The 76th Anniversary awards serve to further strengthen FTUI’s position as one of the leading engineering faculties in Indonesia, committed to producing high-quality graduates, impactful research, and innovations relevant to industry needs and national development.

Moving forward, FTUI remains committed to continuously enhancing the quality of the tridharma of higher education through strengthening research collaborations, improving the quality of postgraduate education, expanding industry partnerships, and reinforcing adaptive institutional governance in response to global challenges.

This achievement is expected to further motivate the entire FTUI academic community to continue innovating, collaborating, and making meaningful contributions to the advancement of Universitas Indonesia, the nation, and the country.
