The Final competition for national level was held on 18-19 May 2016 in Jakarta, Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>The Scarf team&#8217;s idea, entitled\u00a0&#8220;Droplock Turnstile Gate&#8221; was selected from 229 other ideas from all over the country.\u00a0Droplock Turnstile Gate idea was to create a\u00a0<span lang=\"en\">gate turnstile which will generate their own electricity. The idea was to create an alternative energy solution by using the wasted energy of rotating movement caused bythe gate turnstile. This idea was based on the simple concept of gear ratio to generate electricity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>From nine finalist, the Scarf team was selected as the winner and awarded a price of IDR 30 million in the form of scholarship, trophy and certificates. The Scarf team will later compete in the East Asia Zone Competition. Representing Indonesia to compete with other teams from\u00a0Malaysia, Korea, Philippine, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and\u00a0Vietnam, in the\u00a0Schneider Electric &#8220;Go Green in the City&#8221; East Asia Competition in Jakarta, Indonesia on\u00a010 Juni 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The winner of the East Asia Zone Competition will advance to the finale to compete with other finalist from around the world in the\u00a0 Schneider Electric &#8220;Go Green in the City&#8221; Global Competition in Paris in September 2016.\u00a0Schneider Electric &#8220;Go Green in the City&#8221; is an international competition focuses on the development of innovative energy solution for smart city.\u00a0<strong>(KMAV FTUI)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/eng.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/schneider-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2586\" src=\"https:\/\/eng.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/schneider-2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eng.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/schneider-2-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/eng.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/schneider-2-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Scarf Team, consist of\u00a0Nabila Astari\u00a0and\u00a0Stephanie Rawi\u00a0from Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering Universitas Indonesia won the first place in\u00a0Schneider Electric &#8220;Go Green in the City&#8221; competition.
