This result was obtained after FTUI conducted a series of external audits on December 5-6, 2023. <!--more-->This process involved 7 departments and 8 units for ISO 9001: 2015 certification, 45 laboratories in 7 departments and the i-CELL building for ISO 45001: 2018 certification.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-30547 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/eng.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-12-06-at-7.02.36-PM.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1066\" \/><em>Opening of FTUI External Audit by DQS Certification Indonesia<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\nAnnas Sangadji, Hariadi Alim, and Irwansyah Harahap, a team of auditors under DQS Certification Indonesia intensively audited each FTUI unit\/department to see and review the implementation of quality management covered by ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. After the audit, the series of activities was closed on December 5 with the results reading. The audit results stated that FTUI is eligible to maintain ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications with some notes of improvement suggestions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-30548 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/eng.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-12-08-at-2.54.14-PM.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1529\" height=\"900\" \/><em>Submission of External Audit Results<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I would like to express my highest appreciation to all parties who have contributed to the smooth implementation of this audit. Thank you for your commitment and dedication in compiling and presenting the necessary supporting data so that the audit can run smoothly,&#8221; said Prof. Dr. Ir. Winarto, M.Sc., Head of the Academic Quality Assurance Unit and the person in charge of the audit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-30549 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/eng.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-12-06-at-7.03.02-PM.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1600\" height=\"738\" \/>Atmosphere of Audit in Civil Engineering Department FTUI<\/p>\n<p>The Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, ST, M.Eng., IPU, expressed his hope regarding the implementation of this audit, &#8220;Hopefully, the results of this audit can provide a more comprehensive basis for improvement for the community to maintain the quality, environment, and work safety at FTUI. The involvement and support of all parties will certainly create a superior and excellence-oriented academic environment.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>ISO 9001:2015 certification is carried out to maintain a quality management system that includes quality standards for services, educational administration, and their application in the FTUI environment. Meanwhile, ISO 45001:2018 Certification serves as a system to guarantee Occupational Health and Safety (K3) in FTUI laboratories.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-30550 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/eng.ui.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-12-08-at-2.01.52-PM.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><em>Audit atmosphere in one of the FTUI laboratories<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Previously, in September, FTUI under the coordination of the UPMA team also successfully carried out ISO 14001: 2015 re-certification, which is related to laboratory environmental management.
