We are pleased to announce the start of the application period for the Tokyo\u00a0Tech-Asia Young Scientist and Engineer Advanced Study Program (Tokyo\u00a0Tech-AYSEAS) 2017. This annual program is the successor to the Japan-Asia\u00a0Young Scientist and Engineer Study Visit (JAYSES) program, which ran from\u00a02007 to 2012. Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS will be held in the summer of 2017 in\u00a0Manila, the Philippines.<\/p>\n

We would greatly appreciate it if you could introduce this program to the\u00a0students and other interested parties at your university. Please refer to\u00a0the attached announcement and tentative schedule for further information.<\/p>\n

Application procedures:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Students will submit their application forms to the Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS\u00a0Administration Office (ayseas@jim.titech.ac.jp).
    \n(Application forms can be downloaded from the Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS website:\u00a0http:\/\/www.ayseas.ipo.titech.ac.jp\/2017\/top_e.html)
    \nApplication deadline: Monday, May 22, 2017, 23:59 Japanese Standard Time.<\/li>\n
  2. Upon receipt of your students’ applications, the Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS\u00a0Administration Office will forward the applications to you.<\/li>\n
  3. Please review the applications, select candidates (Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS\u00a0Administration Office will announce the limit based on the number of\u00a0applicants from your university) and notify the Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS\u00a0Administration Office with a list of candidates, prioritized according to\u00a0your policies, by Thursday, June 16, 2017. The number of students accepted\u00a0will ultimately be determined by the capacity of the program, so please\u00a0specify two stand-by candidates in case additional spaces become available.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The selection results will be sent directly from the Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS\u00a0Administration Office to all applicants.<\/p>\n
