CCIT FTUI, in collaboration with META and Wellmagic, held a Meet the Expert Session titled \u201cMETA Inside: Today & Tomorrow\u201d<\/em> at the CCIT FTUI Auditorium on November 15. This event, featuring experts from the digital industry, provided an invaluable opportunity for students to gain deep insights into the current trends and future opportunities in the technology sector.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The session featured two key speakers from META Indonesia: Affancik Hamim, META’s Head of Industry for Commerce, Travel, & Retail, and Quito G. Siagian, META’s Client Solutions Manager and a well-known practitioner in the digital world. Both speakers shared their experiences and knowledge on various aspects of META’s ecosystem as well as the challenges and innovations driving the evolution of digital technology today.<\/p>\n

Affancik Hamim discussed the rapidly growing opportunities in the commerce, travel, and retail industries in the digital era and how META plays a pivotal role in supporting these industries through technological innovation. \u201cIn this fast-paced digital era, we must adapt and leverage technology optimally to remain competitive. META is here to help industries maximize their potential with innovative digital solutions,\u201d said Affancik.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Quito G. Siagian, known as a \u201cWanderer in the Digital World,\u201d shared his insights on navigating the digital landscape and how young generations can prepare themselves for dynamic technological transformations. \u201cIn the ever-evolving digital world, we must be brave enough to try new things and not fear failure. While technical skills are important, adaptability and quick learning ability are the keys to surviving and thriving,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n

The event received full support from Wellmagic, CCIT FTUI’s industry partner and the initiator of this activity. Agus Ramdhani, CEO of Wellmagic, emphasized the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and industry in preparing young generations for modern workforce challenges. \u201cAt Wellmagic, we believe that the best learning experiences involve direct engagement with industry practitioners. Through this event, we hope students gain practical and relevant insights to better equip them for the digital world,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Director of CEP CCIT FTUI, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Suryanegara, S.T., M.Sc., IPU, expressed his deep appreciation for this collaboration and his hopes for the positive impact of the event on students. \u201cBy bringing in experts from the digital industry, we hope our students gain a broader and deeper perspective on the job market they will enter. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest industry trends and prepare themselves to be more competitive in the workforce,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n

In a separate statement, FTUI Dean, Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU, shared, \u201cWith the theme \u2018Inspire, Create, Connect,\u2019 this event is not only a platform for sharing knowledge but also an inspiration for participants to innovate and connect with practitioners in the digital world. This session demonstrates CCIT FTUI\u2019s commitment to enhancing students\u2019 capabilities, making them more prepared for the dynamic nature of the digital technology workforce.\u201d<\/p>\n

Through this inspiring session, students are expected to gain valuable insights into the skills needed to face the challenges of the digital industry and build connections with professionals in the field.<\/p>\n
