The Master\u2019s Program in Biomedical Technology under the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (DTE FTUI), has successfully achieved the highest accreditation status of \u201cExcellent.\u201d<\/p>\n
This accreditation was awarded by the Independent Accreditation Board for Engineering Study Programs, the Standing Accreditation Body for Engineering Programs of the Institution of Engineers Indonesia (LAM-TEKNIK PII).<\/p>\n
According to the Decree of the Executive Committee Chairperson of LAM-TEKNIK PII No. 0024\/SK\/LAM Teknik\/AV\/IV\/2025, the accreditation certificate is valid from April 21, 2025, to August 20, 2029. This achievement reflects that the Master\u2019s Program in Biomedical Technology at DTE FTUI has met the quality standards set by LAM-TEKNIK PII.<\/p>\n
Prof. Dr.Eng. Arief Udhiarto, S.T., M.T., IPU., Chair of the Department of Electrical Engineering which oversees the Biomedical Technology Master\u2019s Program, stated, \u201cAchieving the \u2018Excellent\u2019 accreditation status for the Biomedical Technology Program is a significant milestone in our journey to build high-quality higher education relevant to future needs. Amidst the ever-evolving dynamics of healthcare and technology, this achievement is solid evidence that our commitment to quality, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration has yielded commendable results.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dean of FTUI, Prof. Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., also emphasized that this accomplishment is the result of the hard work, dedication, and commitment of the entire academic community, including faculty, students, educational staff, as well as support from alumni and industry partners.<\/p>\n
\u201cMoving forward, this accreditation will serve as a foundation to continuously enhance education quality, expand strategic collaborations, and foster real contributions to the development of science and technology, especially in the biomedical field,\u201d said Prof. Kemas.<\/p>\n
