This agenda serves as a follow-up to the evaluation of the 2025 Performance Agreement, as well as an adjustment of performance indicators in line with the policy direction of Universitas Indonesia leadership.

In 2025, the preparation of the Performance Agreement was conducted in greater detail to ensure full alignment with the established indicators. As a result, FTUI achieved 113.66% of its target, surpassing the set benchmark. This marked the highest achievement among faculties, schools, and vocational schools within Universitas Indonesia. A reward mechanism in the form of incentives or bonuses became one of the driving factors, with the organizational performance index serving as the basis for determining the bonus amount. Although several indicators were not fully achieved—such as endowment fund collection and the percentage of UKKPPM units generating 100% profit—the 2025 achievement serves as an important foundation for future strategies.

The year 2026 presents new challenges. Universitas Indonesia is targeting a significant leap in achievements related to international rankings, with the ambition of entering the top 100 universities worldwide. This ambition has implications for adjusting performance indicator targets to be more globally oriented and strategically focused.

FTUI has received a total of 86 performance agreement indicators, comprising 50 indicators managed by the Vice Dean I and 36 indicators managed by the Vice Dean II. These indicators have also been cascaded to departments, although not all were distributed. The allocation of indicators has been adjusted to the resource capacity of each department to ensure that targets remain realistic and measurable.

As a follow-up, the indicators that have been cascaded to departments were formally signed by each Head of Department. This signing serves as a collective commitment to ensure that all targets are achieved in accordance with the established strategies. Documentation of the signing was also prepared as evidence of commitment and transparency in the implementation of the 2026 Performance Agreement of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia.

With measurable strategies, clear incentives, and a strong spirit of collaboration, FTUI remains optimistic that the 2026 performance indicators will be successfully achieved. Collaborative efforts across units, divisions, and departments are key to reaching the targets, while best practices from high-performing units will be shared to strengthen collective achievement.

On a separate occasion, the Dean of FTUI, Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan, stated, “The 2025 Performance Agreement of FTUI was a challenge that demanded commitment and hard work from the entire academic community. Alhamdulillah, through collaboration and shared dedication, we were able to optimally achieve the targets that had been set.”

***

Public Communication Office
Faculty of Engineering Universitas Indonesia

The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI) held the 2026 Performance Agreement (PA) Cascading Meeting at the Senate Meeting Room, Dean’s Office Building, FTUI (13/02) as a strategic step to strengthen achievements in academic performance, research, and community engagement.
