\nOctober 29 to November 1, 2019 at\u00a0Technol\u00f3gico de Monterrey<\/p>\n

Building Resilience Through Disaster Risk Reduction,
\nResponse, Recovery & Reconstruction in the 2030 Agenda<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Multi-Hazards Symposium 2019 focuses\u00a0on exploring the interrelationship between disasters and development\u00a0at the local, national, and global levels as well as understanding how disaster risk reduction (DRR) can best be applied to\u00a0the future sustainable development of society. The Symposium aims to explore the role of universities in delivering the objectives of the Sendai Framework for\u00a0DRR and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This event provides an excellent opportunity for experts and academics to share and exchange advancement in research, technologies,\u00a0and applications.<\/p>\n

[Call for abstracts]<\/strong>
\nPresenters or organizations are invited to submit one or more abstracts and each abstract will be reviewed by the program committee. The committee will place\u00a0abstracts in a presentation or poster session based on their relevance to the aims of the symposium.<\/p>\n

[Call for posters]<\/strong>
\nPlease provide an abstract with a max\u00a0of 300 words, 3-5 keywords and contact info for poster submission.
\nAccepted posters will be displayed at the MH Symposium\u00a0Poster Exhibition from\u00a0October 28 at 7 p.m.
\nPoster presentation session begins\u00a0on\u00a0October 30\u00a0at 10:00 a.m.\u00a0Participants are expected to present their posters at the designated location.<\/p>\n
