10.2 First-generation students

10.2.1 Proportion of first-generation students

The number of FTUI students starting their first degree in 2022 is 1318. Of the total, 132 students are the first generation to start their degree.

10.3 International Students from developing countries

10.3.1 Proportion of international students from developing countries

In 2022, the number of FTUI students will be 7482. Of this total, 28 students are international students from developing countries.

10.4 Proportion of students with disabilities

10.4.1 Proportion of students with disabilities

In 2022, the number of FTUI students with disabilities will be 51 out of a total of 7482 students.

10.5 Proportion of employees with disabilities

10.5.1 Proportion of employees with disabilities

In 2022, the number of FTUI employees with disabilities will be 0 out of a total of 169 employees.

10.6 Measures against discrimination

10.6.1 Non-discriminatory admissions policy

Have an admissions policy which is non-discriminatory or which details and explains the logic for any appropriate positive discrimination policies in admissions

 

10.6.2 Access to university track underrepresented groups applications

Measure and track applications and admissions of underrepresented (and potentially underrepresented) groups including ethnic minorities, low income students, non-traditional students, women, LGBT students, and disabled students, and newly settled refugee students.

UI appointed 13 PPKS Task Force members for 2022-2024 consisting of Lecturers, Staff and Students. All selected based on Chancellor’s Decree No. 2441/SK/R/UI/2022 concerning the Establishment of a Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence at the University of Indonesia.

10.6.5 University diversity officer

Have a diversity and equality committee, office or officer (or the equivalent) tasked by the administration or governing body to advise on and implement policies, programmes and trainings related to diversity, equity, inclusion and human rights on campus

In order to support disability-friendly campus programs, FTUI has a policy to support people with disabilities by providing facilities or infrastructure, such as building access roads for people with special needs. FTUI also provides special parking for people with disabilities located in the front parking area of FTUI. For people with disabilities who need wheelchairs, FTUI has 2 wheelchairs that can be used. Apart from that, special toilets for people with disabilities are also available at FTUI. All these facilities are in the Sustainability Report 2022 FTUI (page 92-93)
