The Energizing Indonesia Forum (FEI) visited FTUI on Monday (04/04) to discuss Cooperation related to Start Up FEI and FTUI. The team from FEI was received by the Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, ST., M.Eng., IPU, Head of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Unit, Dr. Muhamad Sahlan, S.Si., M.Eng., Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, Dr. Bambang Heru Susanto, ST., MT. and the team from the Entrepreneurship and Innovation unit.
In his remarks, Dean Heri expressed his hope that FEI could become a partner of FTUI in the future. “I see a lot of successful FEI activities carried out. If possible, in the future FEI can help develop events and knowledge within the FTUI environment. FEI can prepare the concept and FTUI through the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Unit will help FEI with business incubation activities.”
On that occasion, Dr. Muhamad Sahlan also introduced the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Unit and samples of FTUI Innovation products to FEI. “Perhaps from the many products resulting from FTUI’s research and innovation, there are products that FEI can help to be downstreamed into the industry.”
The FEI team expressed its appreciation for the acceptance and welcome from FTUI. “We actually want to make FEI the stage for FTUI. We would like to invite FTUI to participate in the FEI anniversary event on 28 October by presenting speakers related to the issue of Batteries, Silkular Economy, Plastics, Waste Management. In the future, FEI plans to develop a Smart Pole, which can detect tsunamis, crime, lighting, air, and others.”
Dr. Bambang Heru conveyed his appreciation to FEI who had helped make FTUI proud through successful seminars. “Hopefully in the future DTK and FTUI can synergize with FEI to present FTUI to the national and international stage.”
