On Tuesday (22/2) Universitas Indonesia (UI) held the main event of their 72nd Anniversary. The event with the theme “UI Serving for the Independence of the Nation” was enlivened by various performances from top Indonesian musicians, announcements of competitions, and distribution of door prizes.UI also gives the highest appreciation to the academic community, faculties, and the community who play an active, innovative, and bring about change.
At the 72nd UI Anniversary celebration this time, the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI) received five awards in various categories. In the Academic field, FTUI received an award for the Faculty with Study Programs that received the Most International Accreditations with a total of 34 study programs. In the Category of Highest Number of Student Achievements, FTUI won with a total of 214 student achievements. In the Academic and Employer Reputation Achievement Category, FTUI received the most peer support from 41 peers.
Another achievement of FTUI is in the field of entrepreneurship, FTUI Engineer Professional Program student, Wema Augustia Ermalasari, received an award for the entrepreneur that she pioneered, PT Organik Inti Indonesia. In addition to receiving awards in the academic and entrepreneurial fields, FTUI also won the Third Place in the Virtual Healthy Walking Competition with a score of 542.
Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, ST., M.Eng., IPU expressed his appreciation to the entire FTUI academic community for various achievements. “Congratulations and success for the awards and winners received by FTUI. Thank you to all academics who have contributed and made FTUI proud through their various achievements at university, national, and international levels”.
