The warmth of Christmas is still felt in the big family of the Persekutuan Oikumene (PO) of the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Indonesia. On Saturday, January 8, 2022 PO FTUI together with PO Faculty of Computer Science (Fasilkom) UI held a joint Christmas event entitled “Granted Hope 2021”. In this Christmas celebration, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng, Dean of FTUI and Dr. Ir. Petrus Mursanto, Dean of Fasilkom UI.
“It is a pleasure for me to be among students and fellow lecturers who are in the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Computer Science. I pray that brotherhood between us is established, not only today, but until the time to come,” said Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng in his speech. Dean Heri also hopes that all Indonesian people will be given health and strength so that they can get through the Covid-19 pandemic well.
“I am grateful that PO FTUI and Fasilkom UI were able to gather and celebrate Christmas with the two faculties in the scientific community even during the Covid-19 pandemic, so that this can be a place to strengthen each other,” said Dean Heri.
He also hopes that the FTUI PO can play an important role in building conducive conditions and maintaining peace and unity within the FTUI and Fasilkom UI student circles. “Unity in Diversity is our capital towards a more advanced direction so that our dream of realizing a just and prosperous society can be realized together,” concluded Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng.
