As one of the flagship study programs of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), Civil Engineering FTUI underwent field assessments. This time the field assessment carried out was for the accreditation of LAM Engineering for the Civil Engineering Masters Program. The field assessors appointed by LAM Teknik are Prof. Ir. Joko Sujono, M.Eng., Ph.D. from Gadjah Mada University and Ilham Nurhuda, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. from Diponegoro University.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Ir. Yanuar, M.Eng., Vice Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs, FTUI said, “Welcome to assessors. We are happy to be able to start our visit today. This is what we’ve been waiting for. The Department of Civil Engineering, FTUI is one of the oldest study programs in FTUI, born in 1964. Hopefully the results of today’s assessment, DTS FTUI can get satisfactory results.”
In his presentation, Prof. Yanuar also introduced the leadership of the FTUI Dean and the team from the Civil Engineering Department who were also present. It was seen that the Vice Dean for Resources, Venture and General Administration, Head of UPMA FTUI, Managers and Heads of FTUI Units were present. In addition, the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Ayomi Dita Rarasati, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. and Secretary of the Department of Civil Engineering, Andyka Kusuma, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. also attended the accreditation team from DTS FTUI. In addition, also attending online, the Head of BPMA UI, Prof. Sri Hartati D. Reksodiputro, Ph.D.
In his speech, one of the assessors, Prof. Sujono said, “Thank you for the kind welcome, hopefully today’s two-day assessment event can go well. Today is the 2nd batch of LAM Teknik conducting accreditation. Sorry if there are still many mistakes because it is still new. I can see from the presentation that FTUI has 8,000 students, perhaps the largest number in UI, yes, from the many study programs that exist in FTUI.”
The field assessment process for the Civil Engineering Master’s Degree Study Program itself has been carried out on 23-24 June 2022.
