“Historically, the Faculty of Engineering UI, UGM, and ITB have the same father, the founding father, Prof. Roosseno Soerjohadikoesoemo,” said the Dean of FT UGM, Prof. Ir. Selo, S.T., M.T., M.Sc. Ph.D. He expressed this when giving a speech at the visit of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FT UGM) to FTUI (27/07). Prof. Selo also expressed his hope that these three Engineering brothers can continue to be bound in one good collaboration.
Prof. Selo also conveyed the purpose of the working visit to FTUI, namely to learn how to implement MBKM, faculty management especially about ventures, how to create ventures in higher education institutions whose associations are businesses in generating profits, the process of applying for professors, and managing Human Resources. (HR) to have an impact on the future development of the institution.
The FT UGM delegation was received by the FTUI management team led by Prof. Dr. Ir. Yanuar, M.Eng., Vice Dean for Research, Education, and Student Affairs FTUI. During the discussion, FTUI gave many presentations and inputs regarding MBKM, faculty management, and human resources. In this discussion, it can be concluded that it is still a concern with the maturation of the MBKM work system so that students can maximize the MBKM program well.
