A total of 103 researchers from the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), have successfully secured funding under the Universitas Indonesia (UI) Research Grant Program for 2025. The funding encompasses three grant schemes: PUTI Hi-Impact, PUTI Q1, and PUTI Q2.
This achievement is a testament to FTUI’s strong commitment to fostering a culture of research and innovation, as well as to enhancing the contributions of its academic community in addressing development challenges through high-impact scientific work.
Prof. Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., Dean of FTUI, expressed his appreciation to the researchers for their dedication and high-quality research output.
“This accomplishment reflects the exceptional quality and strong research spirit of the FTUI academic community. I hope all researchers will complete their proposal revisions before the deadline, ensuring a smooth and optimal implementation of their research,” said Prof. Kemas.
FTUI urges all grant recipients to promptly check the revision status of their proposals and budgets (if applicable) through the RIMA system and re-upload them to the system no later than June 20, 2025. Revision guidelines and contract signing information have been sent to each researcher’s email.
As mid-June approaches, FTUI also encourages its researchers to prepare their best proposals for upcoming national and international grant opportunities, including:
- UI Innovation Funding Program schemes P4 and P5 – June 18, 2025
- RIIM-BRIN Research and Innovation Grant for an Advanced Indonesia, Batch 2 – June 30, 2025
- ISPF Research Collaboration Grant – August 4, 2025 (full proposal)
- INUCoST Matchmaking Proposal Batch 2 – October 7, 2025 (full proposal)
“Let us seize these opportunities to further strengthen the culture of research and innovation at FTUI and to broaden our impact on the advancement of science and technology,” added Prof. Kemas.
FTUI remains committed to supporting all researchers in producing outstanding research that creates a meaningful impact on society, industry, and the nation.
