The Architecture Department of FTUI managed to maintain A accreditation for the Doctoral Program in Architecture from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). This decision was stated in SK No. 2272/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.Ppj/D/VI/2023 and is valid for five years, starting from 27 June 2023 to 27 June 2028.
The A accreditation from BAN-PT is an acknowledgment of the quality of FTUI’s education quality assurance which is assessed from FTUI’s superior strategies and programs, in this case the Architecture Doctoral Program to become a Study Program that can organize an education system in accordance with the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
Head of the FTUI Architecture Department, Dr. Ir. Achmad Hery Fuad, M.Eng., expressed his gratitude and pride for the achievement of one of the educational programs in the FTUI Architecture Department, “This achievement is a form of adaptive collaboration of all academics in improving the quality of education and research held by the FTUI Architecture Department. Hopefully, this achievement can be an encouragement and motivation to continue to improve quality academic services in forming national critical thinkers who can not only compete nationally but also internationally, “he said.
The Doctoral Program in Architecture is one of the educational programs with the best level of educational services at FTUI, as evidenced by the production of graduates who have superior expertise in engineering disciplines, namely architecture and are capable of being collaborative researchers.
Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU., also expressed his pride in the achievements of the FTUI Doctor of Architecture Program, “FTUI is a faculty that continually strives to increase accreditation. This is done in an effort to improve the quality and quality of education and research that can compete in world scene. The educational modernization that FTUI continues to promote is a form of strategy that supports the education and research systems owned by FTUI. It is hoped that this accreditation can become a space and means for not giving up in continuing to strive to improve the quality of education within a quality FTUI environment. Excellence and Impact are achievements that must always be remembered and implemented jointly by all FTUI academics,” he explained.
