The Faculty of Engineering (FT) at the Universitas Indonesia (UI) is preparing to hold the Engineering Entrepreneurship, Career, and Internship Fair (ECIF) 2023 at FTUI Rotunda Park, on September 26-27, 2023. This activity is an annual event held by the Career Development Center (CDC) FTUI and this time involves 30 well-known companies and institutions. ECIF 2023 will present a series of interesting activities such as exhibitions, walk-in interviews, workshops, and seminars that will be held by companies and institutions from within and outside the country. Apart from FTUI students and alumni, this event is also open to the general public who want to find career opportunities or interesting internship programs.
In addition to the FTUI Rotunda Park, FTUI job, internship and scholarship fair activities are also carried out online through the ecif.eng.ui.ac.id page. The page can be accessed from September 18, 2023, to October 18, 2023. Participants can register by filling in their personal data, email address, and password. Participants will get various job vacancies and career-related information from each participating company on the ecif.eng.ui.ac.id website.
Both offline and online, students and job seekers will have the opportunity to interact directly with renowned companies, including PT Paragon Technology and Innovation, Ecolab Inc., Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., ABB Ltd, PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM, THK CO., LTD.), PT Riau Andalan Pulp & Paper (APRIL Group), OCBC NISP Bank, Amazon Web Services, Inc., YKK AP Inc, PT Riau Andalan Pulp & Paper (APRIL Group), Bank OCBC NISP, Amazon Web Services, Inc, YKK AP Inc, PT Astra Honda Motor, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk, PT Badak Natural Gas Liquefaction, Taiwan Semiconductor, ASE Technology Holding Co, Nanya, Micron Technology, Ardentec, United Microelectronics Corporation, and PT Jaya Obayashi.
In addition, ECIF 2023 will also involve various universities and institutions, such as Campus France, Australia Awards in Indonesia, AMINEF, National Taiwan University, National Cheng Kung University, National Tsing Hua University, National Taipei University of Technology: Taipei Tech, National Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University, and Chang Gung University, which will help expand the range of scholarship opportunities and further study opportunities for participants.
Interestingly, this event also has collaborators and University Partners from companies and institutions, such as Vanaya, Prasmul Eli, Sertifikasiku, UI Architecture Excursion, IT PLN, Pertamina University, Politeknik Negeri Jakarta, Al Azhar University Indonesia, and UPN Veteran Jakarta who will provide additional insights into the world of careers and self-development.
In addition to the online platform, students, alumni and the general public are also invited to attend the offline event which will feature exhibitions from participating companies. Seminars and walk-in interviews will also be held at the Smart Meeting Room, FTUI Deanery Building.
