44 FTUI Lecturers Receive Research Grant Funding from Kemendikbudristek for Fiscal Year 2024

On Monday, June 3, 2024, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) announced the recipients of the Research and Community Service Program funding for the 2024 fiscal year. This announcement refers to the letter from the Director of Research, Technology, and Community Service at Kemendikbudristek, number 0667/E5/AL.04/2024. According to the announcement, 44 lecturers from the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), were declared recipients of the Kemendikbudristek Grant for 2024.

Among the nine available schemes, FTUI lecturers secured funding in the following schemes: Fundamental Research (PFR), Doctoral Dissertation Research (PPS-PDD), Master’s to Doctorate for Outstanding Graduates (PPS-PMDSU), Master’s Thesis Research (PPS-PTM), and Applied Research (PT). Of these five schemes, the PFR scheme had the most recipients from FTUI.

The 2024 Research and Community Service Program is designed to support the implementation of the three pillars of higher education (tridharma perguruan tinggi) and as an effort to improve the quality of research and community service. In addition to enhancing the reputation of universities and researchers, this program also aims to strengthen the research and service ecosystem in Indonesia. This program is expected to produce innovations and tangible solutions for the Indonesian community through close collaboration between universities, industry, and the government.
