The Huawei ICT Competition is an international platform for developing and honing young talents in information and communication technology (ICT). It allows participants to showcase their skills while providing a space to exchange ideas and knowledge. This year, the Huawei ICT Competition’s Practice Competition category covers three main tracks: Network Track, focusing on Datacom, Security, WLAN, and DCN; Cloud Track, covering Cloud, Big Data, and AI technologies; and Computing Track, which involves openEuler, openGauss, and Kunpeng. The competition provides young talents with valuable experience to broaden their knowledge and capabilities in facing the ever-evolving challenges of the tech industry.

The competition process starts at the national level and progresses to the regional and global stages, providing participants with opportunities to showcase their skills at various levels. This year’s competition began with Registration and Roadshow in September–October 2024, followed by the National Competition in October–November 2024, and the Regional Round from December 2024 to March 2025. The competition includes a 90-minute theory exam with True or False, Single-answer Questions, and Multiple-answer Questions formats, equivalent to the Huawei Certified ICT Associate – ICT Professional (HCIA-IP) certification. Huawei HQ provides exam questions, a testing platform, and competency guidelines, and participants from Huawei ICT Academies are only allowed to compete in one practice competition track.k

The success of the CCIT FTUI team reflects the high quality of education at CCIT FTUI. The collaboration between instructors and students has significantly contributed to this achievement. Their participation in the Asia-Pacific Regional level is expected to bring pride to Indonesia and inspire other students to continue striving for excellence in technology.
