One of the young lecturers of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), Dr.rer.pol. Romadhani Ardi, S.T., M.T. was appointed as Associate Dean of Student Affairs, Research and Community Service for the period 2022-2026. The handover ceremony and inauguration were held on Friday, January 14, 2022, led by the Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, ST., M.Eng., IPU.
In the FTUI management team for the period 2022-2026, the student affairs unit is combined with the research and community engagement unit. There are several programs that are the focus of this student affairs, research and community engagement unit, including increasing national and international collaboration, increasing scholarships, student entrepreneur programs, and several other excellent programs.
“In the future, the Student Affairs Unit will be combined with the Research and Community Engagement Unit. This is with the aim that in the future the Student Council will get better support from the FTUI Dean in improving self-competence through participation in competitions and developing research ideas,” said Dean Heri.
“We at Student Affairs, Research, and Community Engagement Unit is trying to implement the motto of Entrepreneurial FTUI:Unggul Berdampak, that the Dean brought into real programs. Among them are collaborations with student functionaries in improving student achievement in competitions and scientific works. In addition, we also plan to run an FTUI Professor Grant 2022 to support and facilitate the engagement of professors with their partners,” said Romadhani Ardi, who is familiarly called Dhani.
Dr.rer.pol. Romadhani Ardi, S.T., M.T. is a teaching staff at the Department of Industrial Engineering, FTUI. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from the University of Indonesia and a Doctorate in Industrial Engineering from the Universitat Duisburg-Essen, Germany. Dhani has served as Assistant Secretary of the Department of Quality Assurance and Accreditation as well as the MOOC UI Grant Coordinator Scheme A Department of Industrial Engineering, (2021). Dhani is also a member of the IEEE System Dynamics Society Association and UNDP Indonesia Consultant.
