Universitas Indonesia is back to holding graduations offline for the second time since the Covid-19 pandemic. For this graduation, Universitas Indonesia made a few changes to the technical implementation of the graduation. Before the pandemic, the congratulatory procession was carried out by the Chancellor and the Dean of the Faculty at the graduation rehearsal at Balairung. However, starting this semester, the Dean of each faculty gave congratulations in a series of pre-graduation events before the graduates took part in graduation activities at the UI Depok Campus Hall on Friday & Saturday, 10 & 11 March 2023.
“The Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Engineering, UniversitasIndonesia was held on Wednesday (8/3/2023) in Makara Room 04 Smart Meeting Room, FTUI Dean Building. Pragraduation is a series of events that are carried out before graduation. The series of FTUI pre-graduation events included taking photos of the graduates with the Dean, congratulating the Dean, and taking certificates,” explained the Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, ST., M.Eng., IPU.
At the 2022/2023 Odd Semester graduation, FTUI graduated 430 graduates with 396 graduates registered, consisting of Regular, Parallel and International Class, Master, Doctoral and Professional Classes. For the Regular Undergraduate Program, 119 graduates registered. The Parallel Undergraduate Program registered a total of 45 graduates and the International Special Class Undergraduate Program registered a total of 42 graduates. Whereas in the Postgraduate Program, there were 190 registered graduates, 154 from the Masters’s Program, 18 graduates from the Doctoral Program and 18 graduates from the Professional Program.
