Eid Gathering 1444 H FTUI Big Family

It’s been two years since the government made the decision that Covid-19 had become endemic, FTUI is again holding a Gathering event for the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia as a forum for gathering the FTUI leadership with the FTUI academic community on Monday (26/04). The event started with greetings from all leaders, employees and lecturers at the Round Park, Rotunda FTUI. After the handshake, the event continued with the reading of the Qur’an by Mr. Masturo along with a saritilawah by Deva Alifah from the Department of Chemical Engineering. Then it was continued with a prayer by Dr. Ir. Muhammad Salman, ST, MIT from the Chairperson of the DKM Musala FT as well as a lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering.

In his remarks the Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng. IPU said “We, from the management of the UI Faculty of Engineering, wish you Eid Al-Fitr 1444H, apologize physically and mentally. During this one year we have interacted, and of course, there have been oversights that are felt or not felt. On this happy day, let’s set each other free, forgive each other and then we look forward together to making the Faculty of Engineering that we love to become an even more superior and impactful Faculty of Engineering.”

Prof. Heri also expressed his greatest appreciation to the FTUI seniors who have built FTUI since 1964 until now. “We are committed to continuing the development of the Faculty of Engineering continuously. And in the future, we hope that all academics will continue to provide input, guidance and various inputs to make the Faculty of Engineering even better. We already have a program for the next four years according to the management of the dean. It has been one year and four months now, and we still have two years to go. So if there is input that is in line with a superior program that has an impact, we can both discuss and incorporate it into the program so that it will enrich various activities to make FTUI even more superior and impactful,” continued Prof. Harry.

The UI Faculty of Engineering Gathering event was attended by around 400 FTUI residents consisting of Lecturers and Educational Staff. This event was also enlivened by watching videos of congratulatory Eid al-Fitr greetings from various units in the UI Faculty of Engineering and partners. The event was closed with a door prize draw, hospitality, and a meal together.
