The Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Study Programme, Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (DTE FTUI) has again won Excellent accreditation. This Superior Accreditation was obtained from the Independent Accreditation Institute for the Engineering Study Programme and the Permanent Agency for Accreditation for the Indonesian Engineers Association Engineering Programme (LAM-TEKNIK PII).
Based on the Decree (SK) of the Chairman of the LAM-TEKNIK PII Executive Committee No. 0049/SK/LAM Teknik/PYT/VI/2023, this excellent accreditation certificate is valid from April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2025. This shows that the DTE FTUI Electrical Engineering Study Programme has met the quality standards of education set by LAM-TECHNIC PII.
Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, Dr. Eng. Arief Udhiarto, S.T., M.T., explained, “This excellent accreditation proves that the FTUI Electrical Engineering Study Programme has a relevant curriculum, adequate facilities, and qualified teaching staff. In addition, this is also an acknowledgement of our efforts in developing this study programme to suit technological developments and industrial needs. We are committed to continuously improving the quality of education and research in the Electrical Engineering Study Programme. We will continue to innovate in teaching, strengthen collaboration with industry, and support students in developing their potential.”
The Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU, said that the achievement of this accreditation demonstrated FTUI’s commitment to providing high-quality education to students and meeting the standards set by the accreditation agency.
“This Superior Accreditation must continue to be a trigger and also a motivation for all FTUI academics to continue to improve, demonstrate the quality of education, and be able to compete internationally. Innovation and adaptation to change must always be demonstrated by all FTUI academics so that FTUI’s vision and mission of Excellence with Impact can be seen and its benefits are felt for FTUI, UI, and Indonesia,” said Prof. Heri.
