On Thursday (07/20), the University of Indonesia (UI) Archives Office announced the results of UI’s internal archival supervision that had been carried out from January to June 2023. In the UI Internal Archives Supervision in 2023, there were 444 objects of supervision covering 18 entities (University Administration Center, Faculties, Schools, and Vocational Education Programs) and 426 work units and processing units.
Through hard work and full dedication from all academicians, the Faculty of Engineering UI managed to occupy the best position in the assessment of the best archiving entity and the best archiving office within the University of Indonesia. FTUI managed to get a score of 84.38 and won the best entity in the satisfactory category (A), outperforming all other entities within the University of Indonesia. Meanwhile, the FTUI archives office also earned the title of best archives unit in the highly satisfactory category (AA) with a score of 94.80.
Two processing units at FTUI also managed to enter as work units/processing units in the satisfactory category (A), namely the FTUI Dean’s archive processing unit with a score of 87.45 and the FTUI Education unit with a score of 83.65. 14 other FTUI work units/processing units made it into the excellent category (BB), namely the KPAU Unit, Department of Civil Engineering, KPPM Unit, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, KVA Unit, Department of Mechanical Engineering, secretary of Vice Dean I, Department of Chemical Engineering, Department of Architecture, UP2IK Unit, SDMF Unit, secretary of Vice Dean II, Faculty Academic Senate processing unit, and Department of Industrial Engineering.
“This achievement is the result of the commitment and collective spirit of the entire FTUI academic community in managing and maintaining archives to ensure accuracy and completeness. FTUI’s success in maintaining the quality of archive management cannot be separated from cooperation and awareness of the importance of data and information integrity in the academic environment,” said Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU, Dean of FTUI.
“With this achievement, FTUI proves that good archive management can be an important foundation in supporting the smoothness and success of various academic and administrative activities in the faculty environment. FTUI also makes a positive contribution to the University of Indonesia by inspiring entities within UI to continue to optimize archive and data management for greater efficiency,” explained Tikka Anggraeni, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR who oversees the FTUI Public Communication and General Administration unit.
