To follow changes in regulations related to the submission of study assignments for Civil Servants (PNS) at the Ministry of Education, FTUI held a Socialization of the Latest Rules for Study Assignments. This socialization was held in a hybrid manner, with the implementation location in the Senate Meeting Room, 2nd Floor Dean Building, FTUI (21/09).
This regulation change is based on Permendikbudristek Number 27 of 2022 which regulates the Guidelines for Regulations on Granting Learning Assignments for Civil Servants. This change in regulation also has an impact on the study assignment rules for PUI Lecturers at FTUI.
This socialization was attended by Dr. Ajib Setyo Arifin, S.T., M.T., Manager of Human Resources and Facilities, along with the Faculty and Department HR team, Meidi Derriansyah, Head of the HR Planning and Placement Section of the Sub-Directorate of Planning, Placement and Employee Development, Aufa Syahida, Staff of the Sub-Directorate of Planning, Placement and Employee Development and lecturers of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI) who are currently or will undergo study assignments.
In the previous regulation, the development of civil servants through continuing education had two schemes, namely the provision of study assignments and study permits. However, in this new regulation, there is no longer a study permit scheme, and now there are four types of study assignment schemes that have been determined, namely study assignments that are exempt from job duties, study assignments that are not exempt from job duties, study assignments at independent costs that are exempt from job duties, and study assignments at independent costs that are not exempt from job duties.
“The purpose of this socialization is to apply the new rules set by the Ministry of Education and Culture, for the sake of the smooth future of lecturers who will or are currently carrying out study assignments,” said Dr. Ajib in his opening remarks.
In the context of this socialization, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU, Dean of FTUI, commented, “The purpose of this socialization is to apply the new rules set by the Ministry of Education, for the sake of the smooth future of lecturers who will and are carrying out study assignments. We hope that the new rules regarding the provision of study assignments for PUI Lecturers can be implemented properly in the FTUI environment so that lecturers can carry out study assignments effectively and contribute positively to FTUI and Indonesia.”
Through this activity, it is hoped that FTUI lecturers and staff will better understand the new rules related to study assignments and can apply them properly in the context of developing quality human resources for the advancement of FTUI and greater contribution to Indonesia.
