The Faculty of Engineering UI has a serious commitment to implementing an Integrity Zone in the FTUI Area because it views integrity as a fundamental basis, to move to carry out all programs, strategies and superior programs and to make FTUI superior and impactful.
On Tuesday, September 5, 2023, the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia held a socialization event that raised the importance of the Integrity Zone in the campus environment. This event is part of FTUI’s efforts to strengthen integrity values as the basis for carrying out all programs and strategies.
The Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, Dr. Bambang Heru Susanto, S.T., M.T., who is also one of the FTUI Integrity Zone Change Agents, was the guest speaker at this socialization event. In his presentation, he highlighted the institution’s journey to the latest achievements in the QS World University Rankings 2023. Dr. Bambang Heru Susanto emphasized that all these achievements were made possible thanks to a foundation of competence, integrity, closeness, and trust while avoiding practices that only consider personal interests.
In the context of the Integrity Zone, Dr. Bambang Heru Susanto also provided an understanding of the various types of corruption, ranging from extortion to support. He highlighted the importance of reporting gratuities and provided information that the Faculty of Engineering has provided a reporting tool that can be accessed through the link https://bit.ly/FormlaporGratifikasiFTUI and SIPDUGA UI.
“This Integrity Zone socialization activity is part of the FTUI Agent of Change’s efforts to inform the entire campus community that FTUI has implemented the Integrity Zone principles. The participants who attended gave support and positive responses, showing their awareness of building a culture of integrity in the FTUI environment,” said Dr. Bambang Heru.
The Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU expressed his support for the activities carried out, “Integrity is not just a value, but a strong foundation for FTUI in realizing excellent programs and high-impact goals. We are committed to making FTUI superior and have integrity.”
The socialization of the Integrity Zone at FTUI is one of the agendas of the Change Agent to convey that the FT UI environment has implemented the Integrity Zone. In addition, Dr. Bambang Heru Susanto, S.T., M.T, also conveyed the values that apply and must be applied in the FT UI environment for all civitas, especially lecturers, staff, contract employees and students in the chemical engineering department, and on this occasion, the participants who came during the socialization activities were very supportive and gave good responses in the establishment of the Integrity Zone in the FTUI environment.
