The Vice-Rector for Human Resources and Assets, and Acting Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Dedi Priadi, DEA, attended the inauguration of the Bank Mandiri Digital Corner located in the Engineering Center Building of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI) on Monday (15/7). He inaugurated the new Bank Mandiri office together with the RCEO of Bank Mandiri Regional V Jakarta 3, Lourentius Aris Budiyanto, and the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Drg. Nurtami, Ph.D., Sp,OF(K).
The Vice-Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration of FTUI, Prof. Ir. Mahmud Sudibandriyo, M.Sc., Ph.D., started the event with his speech, saying, “The big family of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, expresses gratitude for Bank Mandiri’s role in supporting the improvement of educational facilities at FTUI, namely the construction of 2 Smart Classroom units that were inaugurated some time ago, and congratulates Bank Mandiri on the inauguration of the Bank Mandiri Digital Corner office at FTUI.”
In his speech, Prof. Dedi Priadi also said, “The choice of location for Bank Mandiri at FTUI is very appropriate, as it can reach many people within the Universitas Indonesia community, especially the many Bank Mandiri customers who are also part of the FTUI academic community. We hope that Bank Mandiri can also offer internship programs for UI’s academic community.”
Lourentius Aris Budiyanto stated, “The relocation of this office is Bank Mandiri’s commitment to introducing a new concept, the Smart Branch, within the educational ecosystem. It is our pride to be within Universitas Indonesia, the best university in Indonesia. Of course, we will continue to support the Tri Dharma of Higher Education by providing the best services.”
Separately, the Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU, stated, “We hope that the operation of the Digital Corner Bank Mandiri office will provide maximum, easy, and fast services, especially for the Faculty of Engineering and UI community in general who are loyal Bank Mandiri customers. May this cooperation run well, continue, and provide positive contributions for all parties.”
The event continued with the presentation of souvenirs, the giving of special e-money to UI and FTUI leaders, and door prizes for attendees. The event concluded with the cutting of the tumpeng (traditional Indonesian cone-shaped rice dish) and a communal meal.
