The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), received four awards at the Presentation of the 2024 Internal Archival Supervision Results of Universitas Indonesia on Tuesday (30/07). Held in the Meeting Room, 9th Floor of the PAU Building, UI Depok Campus, the event organized by the UI Archives Office was the culmination of the 2024 internal archival supervision activities, involving 444 work units from 18 faculties at Universitas Indonesia.
At the event, FTUI demonstrated its achievements in archival management through the following awards:
– 1st Place for the Best Monitoring Results Entity in 2024 with a score of 4.9;
– 1st Place for the Best Archival Unit (Level 5) in 2024;
– Best Performing Secretariat Work Unit (Level 5); and
– Best Performing Human Resources Processing Unit (Level 5).
FTUI Dean, Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU, expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the FTUI Documentation Center and Archives Unit, stating, “This achievement is the result of the hard work and dedication of the entire team at the Faculty of Engineering in managing archives and administration to high standards. This accomplishment serves as motivation for all of us to continue improving the quality and accuracy of archival management, ultimately supporting the effectiveness and efficiency of faculty operations.”
In addition to the main event, the activity included a panel discussion involving faculty leaders, auditors, and archivists. The discussion focused on the challenges and opportunities in improving archival management within Universitas Indonesia and shared best practices among work units. Participants were highly enthusiastic about the discussion, recognizing the importance of efficient archival management in supporting good governance within educational institutions.
