On Monday (August 12), the Women’s Family Association (IWK) of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia (FTUI), once again held a Charity Bazaar in the lobby of the K Building at FTUI. With the tagline “From Us, For Us, Together With Us, Beneficial for All,” the event embraced a charity concept with the primary goal of promoting mutual support.
In his opening remarks, Prof. Ir. Mahmud Sudibandriyo, M.Sc., Ph.D., Acting Dean of FTUI, expressed his appreciation for the event. “This Charity Bazaar organized by IWK FTUI is a tangible manifestation of the care and solidarity among the FTUI academic community. With the spirit of ‘from us, for us, together with us, beneficial for all,’ IWK FTUI demonstrates that social values and solidarity continue to thrive within our campus. I hope this event benefits the FTUI academic community and can be held regularly in the future,” he stated.
The charity bazaar featured a variety of preloved items such as household appliances, clothing, bags, and shoes, all offered at affordable prices. IWK FTUI also presented **Voluntary Groceries**, where participants could purchase groceries with a minimum contribution of IDR 50,000, and **Blessed Eggs**, where the first 200 registrants could get eggs for just IDR 10,000 per tray.
Additionally, **Free Groceries** were specially provided for FTUI’s cleaning service staff and security guards as a token of appreciation for their efforts in maintaining the cleanliness and security of the campus environment. The bazaar also featured Fiesta products at special prices. The event received positive feedback from the FTUI community, as it not only provided economic assistance but also strengthened the bonds among the academic community.
