FTUI became the first public university to partner with BAMUIS BNI in this scholarship program. Previously, BAMUIS BNI focused solely on providing scholarships to Islamic preachers at state Islamic universities in Indonesia. This year, BAMUIS BNI expanded its scholarship reach to public universities, aiming to support the development of exceptional human resources ready to contribute across professional sectors.
The Premier Higher Education Scholarship for Career-Ready Graduates by BAMUIS BNI aims to assist FTUI students in need while encouraging academic excellence. The program provides a total scholarship fund of IDR 22,500,000 per semester to five FTUI students until they graduate as engineering undergraduates. The Batch 1 scholarship recipients are:
- Dzalfa Rajaa Muhammad (Mechanical Engineering 2021)
- Ahmad Suwandi M (Environmental Engineering 2023)
- Ilham Ramadhan (Mechanical Engineering 2022)
- Arya Arfab Akbar Maulana (Civil Engineering 2023)
- Maharaka Fadhilah (Computer Engineering 2023)
In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Ir. Yanuar, M.Eng., M.Sc., Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs, expressed his hopes:
“May the strong collaboration between BAMUIS BNI and the Faculty of Engineering Universitas Indonesia continue and inspire other stakeholders to collaborate to advance education and student welfare. We believe that with everyone’s support, this program will have a profoundly positive impact on the nation’s future generations.”
Similarly, Prof. Ir. Mahmud Sudibandriyo, MSc., Ph.D., Acting Dean of FTUI, appreciated BAMUIS BNI’s initiative to broaden its scholarship outreach.
“We deeply appreciate BAMUIS BNI’s decision to partner with FTUI as the first public university collaborator. This program demonstrates a strong commitment to preparing high-quality, competitive young talent ready to enter the professional world. We hope this collaboration continues sustainably and helps even more students through this program.”
Drs. H. Sudirman, MBA, Executive Director of BAMUIS BNI, highlighted the alignment of the partnership with Indonesia’s vision for 2045:

The Premier Higher Education Scholarship for Career-Ready Graduates by BAMUIS BNI is expected to support students in need at Universitas Indonesia, particularly in the Faculty of Engineering, in earning their undergraduate degrees. The program aims to prepare students for high-performing, competitive careers.
