The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), held the Inauguration and Handover Ceremony of Leadership Positions within FTUI, which was combined with a farewell and welcome event for the Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs. The event took place on Friday (23/01) at the Auditorium of the Interdisciplinary Engineering (IDE) Building, 2nd Floor, Universitas Indonesia Depok Campus.
This event marked an important moment in the transition process and the strengthening of FTUI’s organizational governance through the inauguration of structural officials, ranging from managers, heads and secretaries of units, heads and secretaries of departments, heads of study programs, to heads of special work units for services and community engagement. The inauguration ceremony began with the reading of the Dean’s Decree of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, followed by the signing of the official handover documents and the administration of the oath of office to the appointed officials.
In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., emphasized that the handover and appointment of leadership positions are integral to strengthening leadership continuity and organizational governance at FTUI in order to realize the vision of being Excellent, Competitive, Empowered, and Cultured.
“This event serves as an important momentum for the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, in reinforcing leadership continuity and organizational governance. The handover and appointment ceremony not only marks a transition in structure, but also reaffirms FTUI’s commitment to realizing its vision of being Excellent, Competitive, Empowered, and Cultured through the strengthening of academic quality, institutional reputation, tangible contributions to society, and the development of values and ethics as a shared foundation,” said Prof. Kemas.
On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering inaugurated and administered the oath of office to FTUI’s structural officials for the 2026–2029 and 2026–2030 terms of office, including managers, unit leaders, department leaders, heads of study programs, and heads of special work units for services and community engagement.
