In the year of 2018, The High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCÉRES) accredited Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) complying with French and European standards for universities. In this year, TDTU also achieved program accreditation by ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) in 2019. In the year of 2020, ARWU (Academic Ranking of World Universities) announced the results of World university ranking: TDTU is ranked No. 1 in Vietnam and 901 in the world. According to the ranking results for 2019-2020 by the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP), TDTU is ranked No. 1 in Vietnam and 960 in the world. Particularly for THE Impact Rankings of the most influential global universities of 2020, TDTU has been ranked among the World’s Top 200 universities with the best quality of education. On May 16th, 2020, the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) announced the results of ranking universities by Field Based Ranking in 2020. According to the results, TDTU has made a remarkable progress with 10 fields/field groups ranked in the Top 400, 500; and some in the Top 600-900 of the world. TDTU post-doc fellowships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and research potential.
Application Conditions:
- Candidates must be under 45 years old (unless given Committee exemption) and have a doctoral degree;
- Candidates must have already published at least 02 articles in the ISI database. All ISI / Scopus articles described below must adhere to TDTU. scientific publication requirements (see website: http://science.tdtu.edu.vn); applicants must be the main author or the corresponding author;
- Candidates must be fluent in English;
- Candidates must be recommended by an expert or a professor;
- Candidates must work full-time at TDTU for at least 12
Scholarship organization
- Scholarships are paid monthly; the scholarship will be decided by the Committee by the number of ISI publication registration from the applicants during the scholarship period at
- Candidates are provided facilities and services for their research, such as: offices, laboratories, etc., and other support from the department and their professors.
Duties for postdoctoral scholarship applicants
- The main duty is to research and publish the research paper in ISI / Scopus journals / conferences (or international patents for applied science). Register the ISI / Scopus indicator at the Department for Management of Science and Technology Development, approved by the Principal;
- Implement some scientific support such as connecting businesses to external projects and funds; organizing and supporting conferences; searching for and introducing scholars, professors and experts to work at the faculties of the University;
- Participate in or set up research groups funded by TDTU (the research group list can be found at: http://science.tdtu.edu.vn/en/research/research-group);
- Perform one of the following tasks (registration with demonstration): Teaching (theory and practice): 3 credits/year for the undergraduate programs or 2 credits/year for the graduate programs;
- Give scientific presentation: 04 seminars/year.
