On Monday, 10/7/23, the Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia (FTUI) received a visit from NorthEastern University, China, on the 2nd floor of the FTUI Dean Building. This visit aims to expand the modernization and internationalisation of education, which is the educational strategy of FTUI, with foreign partners from world-renowned universities.
“We welcome the arrival of NorthEastern University to be able to collaborate with us in this matter, which is specifically related to the Department of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, as well as several other departments in FTUI. It is hoped that the collaboration will produce good cooperation to have a positive impact on each party,” said Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, ST., M.Eng., IPU., Dean of FTUI.
A representative from North Eastern University, Prof. Yu Fuxiao, said, “We are opening opportunities for collaboration for FTUI; this collaboration is related to a programme that we have initiated, namely industry co-founding. This programme encourages students to be able to work in industries related to engineering disciplines.”
Through the collaboration with NorthEastern University, it is hoped that we can further expand the wings of FTUI’s collaboration in the field of education with foreign partners to form FTUI graduates who are superior and able to compete on the world stage. Later, this collaboration discussion will be followed up with a programme that can be realised.
