The Integrity Zone (ZI) Enabler Team 1 of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI) held its regular coordination meeting on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Senate Meeting Room, Dean’s Building, FTUI. The meeting is part of a periodic agenda aimed at implementing the Bureaucratic Reform program, particularly Enabler 1: Change Management, which serves as a foundation for strengthening the development of the Integrity Zone within the faculty.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Eng. Radon Dhelika, B.Eng., M.Eng., Coordinator of ZI Enabler 1 at FTUI and Head of the Planning, Performance Monitoring, and Education Modernization Unit. The discussion specifically addressed the establishment of the FTUI Integrity Zone Team, which will involve Change Agents from both lecturers and administrative staff. This cross-functional involvement is intended to encourage collaboration, strengthen commitment to clean and accountable governance, and enhance the effectiveness of the ZI program implementation across all units.
In addition to team formation, the meeting also outlined the roles and responsibilities of the FTUI ZI Team, including preparing and overseeing the Integrity Zone development action plan, coordinating the fulfillment of evidence and assessment indicators, conducting monitoring and evaluation, and periodically reporting progress to the faculty leadership.
During the presentation on strengthening the ZI program, updates were shared on the implementation of the six enablers: change management, business process improvement, human resource management system improvement, strengthening accountability, strengthening supervision, and improving the quality of public services. Various initiatives have been continuously implemented, including the application of Universitas Indonesia’s Nine Core Values, service digitalization, the preparation and updating of standard operating procedures, strengthening risk management, optimizing the Whistleblowing System, and conducting public satisfaction surveys.
FTUI Dean, Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., emphasized that the development of the Integrity Zone is not merely an administrative requirement but a transformation of work culture.
“Integrity Zone must be understood as a movement for change that touches the mindset and behavior of the entire academic community. Our commitment is to build governance that is transparent, accountable, and service-oriented as the foundation toward achieving a Corruption-Free Zone and a Clean and Service-Oriented Bureaucratic Area,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Radon Dhelika, B.Eng., M.Eng., explained that the focus for 2026 will be on strengthening the active participation of lecturers and administrative staff as key agents of change.
“Our challenge lies not only in completing the required documentation but also in improving understanding and internalizing the values of integrity. A more concise, visual, digital-based, and communicative approach needs to be developed so that the ZI message can be effectively conveyed, including to students,” he explained.
During the discussion, the team also highlighted the importance of involving the MPKT FT in strengthening the understanding and application of Universitas Indonesia’s Nine Core Values, refining regulations and authority boundaries, involving HR coordinators at the departmental level, and reviewing the Lecturer Workload (BKD) as part of strengthening lecturer performance accountability. In addition, the meeting discussed enhancing the role and legitimacy of Change Agents in promoting a culture of integrity within FTUI.
As a follow-up, the meeting agreed to finalize the structure of the FTUI ZI Team with proportional representation, improve digital-based socialization materials, develop a more structured and measurable 2026 work timeline, and schedule further coordination meetings to ensure that all plans proceed according to target.
Through these initiatives, FTUI reaffirms its commitment to continuously strengthening the development of the Integrity Zone as part of sustainable bureaucratic reform, while fostering faculty governance that is clean, professional, and service-oriented.
