On Monday (19/12), Y Ventures Group Ltd visited FTUI to donate 100 books to FTUI. Packaged in the “Book Donation Ceremony from Justnile to FTUI,” the book donation was received directly by the Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, ST., M.Eng., IPU.
In his remarks, the Dean of FTUI expressed his gratitude to Y Ventures Group for the book donation given by Y Ventures Group to FTUI. “It is an honor for me to be here at the book donation event by Y Ventures Group to the Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia. This book donation means a lot to us, for the first time we have received a donation from Y Ventures Group. The book is very useful for our students, especially those who are pursuing their studies in the Architecture Study Program and Regional and Urban Planning Study Program,” said Prof. Harry.
Y Ventures Group Ltd’s collaboration with the University of Indonesia can cover a wide range of collaboration activities, one of which is obtaining the latest edition of textbooks. The book is sponsored by a company that wants to provide easy access for Indonesian students.
“As we know, education is one of the things that plays an important role in life. As we grow, if education for the community is not prioritized, it will certainly cause difficulties in developing. Therefore, many programs initiated by the government to support education for its people. With the industrial world entering the 5.0 era, if we don’t prepare the younger generation well, it will be difficult for them to compete in the industrial world. We appreciate the University of Indonesia as the first institution in Indonesia to collaborate with us. We have now reached the first step, and we hope that this collaboration will continue in the future,” said Adam Low one of the founders of Y Ventures Group.
With a total of 100 books, FTUI received 50 book donations for the Architecture study program and 50 books for the Urban and Regional Design Masters study program. Kibert. It is hoped that these books will help students learn how to design and build buildings that are good for the environment and nature that will benefit Indonesia.
