This unit is expected to be able to run three collaborative research and entrepreneurial sectors in accordance with FTUI’s vision There are four things that are the focus of this unit, namely the Technology Management Office, Reverse Engineering Center, Entrepreneurship Center, and Incubator Business Technology Indonesia.”

Dean Heri also explained that cooperation and collaboration between parties had a big impact. Every activity and research undertaken must produce an impact. For the next four years, FTUI is committed to providing three major impacts which are summarized in service excellent, reputation, and revenue. These three impacts will be seen from the implementation of the FTUI Entrepreneur vision.

The benefits of various existing research and activities result from the collaboration of the three sectors. The first sector is at the faculty and university level. The lecturers and students produce various innovations from the research carried out. FTUI itself has a special forum for its academics to assist research in terms of facilities, publications, and funding.

The benefits of research produced by the FTUI academic community can be felt if collaborating with parties outside the campus. In this second sector, FTUI and UI collaborate with alumni, government, industry, business, society, and the media to develop existing research so that the research results can be implemented in various areas of life.

In the third sector, an entrepreneurial approach can be taken to produce research products that can be used en masse through industrial assistance. Through entrepreneurship, a research not only brings progress in the academic field, but also research can advance the economy of selling in national and global markets.

Technological innovations in the health sector that FTUI has produced include the PUVICON Cold Plasma Air Purification Device, CENTRI-FLO, Oxygen Therapy device, Flocked: Swab Stick HS-19, and Propolis for Covid-19 healing therapy.
