The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), is pleased to announce the opening of the 2024 research grant program in collaboration with the Osaka Gas Foundation of International Culture Exchange (OGFICE). This program offers permanent FTUI lecturers the opportunity to submit research proposals in the fields of Sustainable Energy, Green Technology, or Global Environmental Problems.
Submitted proposals must cover topics relevant to these issues, aiming to support research that can significantly contribute to energy sustainability, green technology, and solutions to global environmental problems. Proposals should be 8-10 pages long, written in English, and adhere to the attached guidelines.
The proposal submission period starts on July 22 and ends on August 22, 2024. Interested lecturers are expected to send their proposals via email to riset.ft@ui.ac.id. The Osaka Gas Foundation, established in 1992, aims to deepen research between Japan and natural gas-producing countries. The collaboration between FTUI and the Osaka Gas Foundation has been ongoing for over 30 years, primarily in the form of research grants focusing on energy and global environmental issues. To date, a total of 91 research projects by FTUI lecturers have been funded by the Osaka Gas Foundation, with total grant funding reaching USD 360,000.
