CDC FTUI and Kebun Tech Organize Recruitment Event with Several Japanese Companies

The Career Development Center (CDC) of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), in collaboration with PT Kebun Teknologi Indonesia, held a recruitment event for FTUI students and alumni. On Monday (November 11), selected candidates participated in follow-up interviews with Sun Asterisk, Shirokuma Power, and TelaAxon. Through this collaboration, CDC FTUI aims to provide broader job opportunities for FTUI graduates at the international level, particularly in Japan.

Dr.-Ing. Ir. Dalhar Susanto, Manager of Partnerships, Ventures, and Alumni Affairs at FTUI, stated, “This recruitment event is a tangible effort by FTUI and Kebun Tech to facilitate students and alumni in meeting directly with Japanese companies. We believe this strategic collaboration will not only benefit their careers but also broaden students’ global perspectives on international work standards.”

“Initiatives like this demonstrate FTUI’s commitment to bridging our graduates with the global industrial world, especially Japanese companies known for their innovation and advanced technology. This collaboration is expected to open promising career opportunities for FTUI students and alumni, while also strengthening international ties in the industrial and educational sectors,” said Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU, Dean of FTUI.

In addition to the recruitment activities, the event also discussed plans for cooperation to provide specialized training programs, including AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Japanese language courses. The AWS training is expected to enhance FTUI students’ technical skills in cloud computing, while Japanese language training will improve their communication skills, preparing them to work in a Japanese company environment. This initiative is proposed as part of an effort to equip students with relevant skills for the modern workforce.

This training collaboration is the result of a partnership between ANC Japan and Tokai Mitra Indonesia. With support from both organizations, it is hoped that the training will be effectively implemented and help increase the competitiveness of FTUI students and graduates on the international stage. This event also serves as a strategic step to strengthen the relationship between FTUI and global company partners, creating new opportunities in education and career development for students.
