“When I nominate for dean, I propose three strategies and eleven programs that will be launched for the next four years. The first strategy is empowering (strengthening entrepreneurs). Second, impactful and impactful research and innovation. The last one is related to the modernization of engineering education,” said the Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.T., IPU when opening the Dean Greeting the Civil Engineering Department (27/01).

Some of the things that became the focus of the discussion included discussions related to Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL), especially how CPL can be elaborated at SIAK NG in the future. DTS also informed that investors who want to place the machine for LRB (load rubber bearing) test, which this machine does not yet exist in Indonesia and if so, it will be the only LRB machine in Indonesia.
Discussions on the expansion of professor X’s grant into grants for all professors in the nature of engagement grants were also carried out. Apart from that, offline lectures were also discussed. Especially for exams. This is to avoid many students working together when the online exam is conducted.
The Dean Greet Department roadshow activity is a forum for dialogue for faculty leaders, in this case the Dean and the two Vice Deans to convey the prepared programs and also listen to aspirations, suggestions, input and advice from the department regarding matters that can be accommodated in future activity programs.
