The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Indonesia (FTUI) welcomed a delegation from the Pohang University of Science & Technology (POSTECH) on Monday (02/05) at the Smart Meeting Room (SMR), FTUI Dean’s Office Building. This visit was made for the signing of the Letter of Intent (LOI) between FTUI and the Department of Chemical Engineering at POSTECH. The collaboration agreement was signed by FTUI Dean, Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU, and the Dean of Engineering/Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at POSTECH, Prof. Dr. Cha Hyung Joon.

During this meeting, besides signing the Letter of Intent (LOI) as an initial agreement for further collaboration between FTUI and the Department of Chemical Engineering at POSTECH, based on the LOI and discussions, both parties agreed to explore collaboration in the academic field for student and academic staff exchange programs, research, exchange of lecturers for public lectures, and summer camp activities. For this purpose, both parties will formalize the collaboration through an Agreement of Implementation (AOI).

“Today marks a historic day for the collaboration between FTUI and the Department of Chemical Engineering at POSTECH. We hope that this collaboration can provide mutual benefits for both parties in the academic and research fields.
