From the University of Strathclyde, attendees included Professor Stephen McArthur, Associate Principal and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Iraklis Lazakis from the Department of Naval Architecture, Ocean and Marine Engineering, Cameron Johnstone from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, and Jenny Gazzard, International Development Manager.

The signed agreement covers various areas, including curriculum development, student and faculty exchanges, and joint research. “We are very excited about the opportunities that this collaboration opens up,” said Prof. Yanuar. “This collaboration will greatly benefit both institutions, especially in enhancing the quality of education and research in mechanical and naval engineering.”

Professor Stephen McArthur from the University of Strathclyde also expressed his enthusiasm. “The collaboration with FTUI will enrich our academic programs and strengthen our international relationships. We hope to create a dynamic and innovative learning environment for students from both institutions,” he said.

Following the signing, in-depth discussions were held regarding the educational programs to be jointly developed. These discussions covered various aspects, such as teaching methods, curriculum adjustments, and joint research opportunities. Dr.-Ing. Dalhar Susanto added, “The exchange of ideas and experiences in this discussion is very beneficial and opens up many opportunities for closer collaboration in the future.”
