The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI), Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU., on Tuesday (30/07), inaugurated 6 new structural officials, including the Department of Interdisciplinary Engineering, Heads of Units, and Heads of Offices, while respectfully relieving 2 former officials within FTUI.
The handover ceremony took place in the Makara 04 Smart Meeting Room, FTUI Dean’s Building. During the ceremony, the FTUI Dean respectfully dismissed and extended the highest appreciation and gratitude to:
- Prof. Dr. Ir. Harinaldi, M.Eng, as Head of the Education Modernization and Internationalization Unit, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, for the 2022-2024 period;
- Fadhilah Muslim, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., DIC, as Secretary of the Education Modernization and Internationalization Unit, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, for the 2022-2024 period;
- Prof. Dr. Ir. Widodo Wahyu Purwanto, DEA, as Acting Head of the Interdisciplinary Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, for the 2022-2024 period;
- Prof. Dr. Ir. Widodo Wahyu Purwanto, DEA, as Head of the Energy Systems Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, for the 2022-2024 period.
Following this, the Dean took the oath and inaugurated the following officials:
- Prof. Dr. Ir. Harinaldi, M.Eng., as Head of the Education Modernization, Planning, and Supervision Unit, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, 2024 – 2026;
- Fadhilah Muslim, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., DIC, as Head of the International Office, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, 2024 – 2026;
- Ir. Chairul Hudaya, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D., IPM, as Head of the Department of Interdisciplinary Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, 2024 – 2026;
- Dr. Eng. Mohammad Akita Indianto, S.T., M.Eng., as Secretary of the Department of Interdisciplinary Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, 2024 – 2026;
- Sheila Tobing, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D., as Head of the Energy Systems Engineering Study Program, Department of Interdisciplinary Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, 2024 – 2026;
- Ir. Jaka Fajar Fatriansyah, Ph.D., as Head of the Integrated Education Laboratory, Department of Interdisciplinary Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, 2024 – 2026.
In his remarks, FTUI Dean Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU., stated, “It’s hard to believe that nearly three years have passed since January 2022 when we began managing the FTUI Entrepreneurial Dean’s Office: Excellent and Impactful at the Faculty of Engineering UI. I deeply appreciate Prof. Widodo for his dedication over the past three years in excellently and proudly overseeing Interdisciplinary Education and Research.”
Prof. Heri continued, “In line with the mandate issued by the Board of Professors (DGB), there is a new directive that must be implemented related to Interdisciplinary Education and Research. Therefore, today we officially inaugurate the new management of the Department of Interdisciplinary Engineering (DIK). With this inauguration, DIK is expected to carry out and continue the new mandate as a department, as well as continue to develop educational collaborations with various stakeholders, including academic institutions, government, and industry.”
“I also hope that the formation of the new DIK management will facilitate the progress of Interdisciplinary Education in producing excellent and impactful education, research, and community service. Additionally, I want to congratulate the newly appointed officials and express my deepest gratitude to Prof. Widodo and colleagues who have provided outstanding support in managing this Department of Interdisciplinary Education and Research,” concluded Prof. Heri.
