Tuesday, May 10, 2022, the Education Modernization and Internationalization Unit of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia held a consignment meeting to finalize the Guidebook for the Merdeka Learning program, Merdeka Campus, FTUI.
The consignment event which took place at the Aston Simatupang hotel was aimed at finalizing the preparation of the Independent Campus Independent Learning Program (MBKM) guidebook which would then be socialized to all civitas in the FTUI environment.
In his remarks, the Vice Dean for Education, Research and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Yanuar, M.Eng., M.Sc. emphasized the importance of preparing this MBKM manual so that the MBKM program can be socialized to teachers in the FTUI environment. “Of course, many questions will arise regarding the technical implementation of this program. It is hoped that this guidebook can serve as a reference and also be an example for other faculties at UI in implementing the MBKM program.”
The Head of the FTUI Education Modernization and Internationalization Unit, Prof. Dr. Ir. Harinaldi, M.Eng. also said, “Our target is to complete this MBKM manual. MBKM is in its journey, always experiencing development. For that we, at least FTUI, have initial guidelines in running this program. In the future, of course, we will improve many things in this book, along with the dynamic development of the MBKM program from time to time”.
On the occasion of this consignment, the participants also listened to the explanation of the latest conditions regarding the implementation of the MBKM program at the University of Indonesia from the Head of the Center for Integrated Learning at the Universitas Indonesia, Mr. F. Astha Ekadiyanto, S.T., M.Sc. CIL UI itself is a unit specifically formed by UI as an aggregator and facilitator for the implementation of the MBKM program at the University of Indonesia.
